FEBS support, eligibility and how to apply
Those selected to attend the YSF 2026 will be financially supported by FEBS YSF grants that cover Congress registration, accommodation for both the YSF and FEBS Congress, and most travel expenses.
Applicants must be PhD students or postdocs up to age 35 years (with some exceptions on age possible), be submitting a single abstract for the YSF and Congress as first author, and be a member of a FEBS Constituent Society.
After registration opening, candidates will be able to apply to the YSF 2026 via the Congress website with submission of documents such as a CV, letter of motivation and letter of recommendation, as well as their abstract for presenting results at the YSF and Congress.
Full details on support, eligibility and how to apply will be posted in September 2025, ahead of registration opening in early November. The YSF 2026 application deadline is expected to be in early to mid-December 2025.
